As part of the Copernicus Programme, the two Sentinel-3 satellites, A and B, are tasked with monitoring the oceans and land from space.

To do that, they carry a wide range of instruments on board and we’ve talked about their benefits many times - but, you might wonder, what do these instruments actually look like?

Hayley Evers-King, Marine Earth Observation Scientist at Plymouth Marine Laboratory (PML), is here to help! Discover the ins and outs of Sentinel-3 via our true-size model with Hayley guiding you in this new “Meet the Satellites” series.

Check out the video to learn more about each instrument, their functions and the full Sentinel-3 design.
